A Mitsubishi elevator in an office building recently frequently experienced sudden stops and incorrect floor display malfunctions. After on-site engineers initially checked the circuits and tested the voltage, the root cause of the problem still could not be identified. Considering the concealment of the fault, our technical department held an emergency discussion and speculated that the issue might lie in the internal chip or circuit of the Mitsubishi electronic board. We then started a video call with the customer, and through the real-time screen, guided them to disassemble the panel of the elevator control box, gradually check the signal of each interface of the electronic board, measure the voltage of key pins with a multimeter, and compare it with standard parameters. After 1 hour of repeated verification, a cold solder joint in the core chip of the electronic board was finally found. We remotely guided the customer to perform precise soldering repair. After the elevator was restarted and completed 3 rounds of no-load and full-load test runs, the fault was completely eliminated, and the elevator returned to normal operation.
